MINERALES de POZOS
These pictures were taken at the mining ruins in Minerales de Pozos in the summer of 2005. These buildings were the offices and quarters of the mining company. The town was at one time over 70 thousand in population but is only about 4 thousand today. Pozos was famous for it's silver mines however they are today mostly filled with water. The pictures that I have here are of the ruins of the offices of mines. I will go another time and get pictures of the town.
